100^th Day FREEBIE!

Cute toppers for your student’s
100^th Day collections.

Many of us have our students collect 100 small objects at home as a part of our 100^th day learning activities. Here are a few toppers for you. They can make a very cute bulletin board in your classroom or hallway.

COMMON CORE STATE STANDARDS

Know number names and the count sequence.
K.CC.1 Count to 100 by ones and by tens.

Count to tell the number of objects.

K.CC.4 Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.

·         When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.

·         Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.

·         Understand that each successive number name refers to a quantity that is one larger.

One Hundredth Day Fun!

The Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Numbers!

~Cut out the Old Lady’s mouth and have her swallow numbers as you and your students count to 100!

~Paper Clip or Tape your Old Lady to a pocket chart or sturdy bag/box to make it interactive

Included:

~6 sets of Numbers 1-100

Numbers sets 1-100 are in black, red, blue, green, purple, and orange ink so you can program your set to support skip counting by 2’s , 5’s, 10’s, …etc.

~1 Large and 1 Small Old Lady head

CCSS
K.CC.1 Count to 100 by ones and by tens.

K.CC.2 Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1)
